ForestSAT built a planetary-scale solution.
The world's first full-lifecycle Wildland Operating System for wildfire: risk forecasting, prevention, mitigation, suppression, recovery, policy and finance. It combines AI, Satellite Earth Observation and forest science in one platform.
Every megafire was preceded by years of observable risk: fuel building, vegetation drying, moisture declining. Visible from orbit. We read 10+ years of it, week after week, for one landscape at a time.
Super Forest Intelligence maps where fuel and fire risk are quietly building in wildlands, years before ignition, using 10+ years of satellite Earth Observation and 50+ variables. It shows which homes, communities, flora and fauna are at risk.
Predictive intelligence supports year-round prevention plans: fuel management, firebreaks and risk-ranked priorities, cutting disaster costs and damage through smart, affordable preventive action.
Continuous evidence of preventive action through satellite, aerial, drone and ground LiDAR monitoring: what was done, where, when and at what cost, and whether risk actually fell.
When a fire starts, ForestSAT AI predicts its direction, speed, type, intensity and flame height, and the risks along its path, so crews act ahead of the flame front. Lines mark the front every two hours.
Post-fire satellite assessment and Super Forest Intelligence deliver long-term regeneration plans for governments, industry, communities, insurers and restoration programmes.
A Super Forest Intelligence operating system, as valuable for conservation as it is for fire-risk mitigation, prevention, suppression and the long years of recovery that follow.
Simplified spread model on real Grass Valley terrain, with fuel derived from Sentinel-2 imagery. For demonstration only; production models use live EO, weather and fuel data.
Megafires are not surprises. They are predictable.
NDVI anomaly −0.18 Fuel moisture 6% GOES-18 · 5 min cadence Sentinel-2 · 10 m Canopy density −11% SAR · all-weatherMore than a decade of satellite-observed fuel accumulation proves that fire risk is predictable. Megafires are preventable. Quantifiable action is possible, before the spark.
Governments, utilities and insurers are committing unprecedented capital to wildfire. Budget overruns and record losses persist because, until now, there has been no intelligence layer. ForestSAT shows where to invest in prevention, and verifies how that investment is working. Every figure below is sourced.
Wildfire is an existential financial and operational challenge for the institutions below. Each gets a distinct product path, and they all read the same ground truth.

Risk along every kilometre of line, and independent satellite verification of vegetation work for compliance and litigation defence.
Property-level exposure from the fuel and terrain around it, verified mitigation for pricing, and objective post-fire damage evidence for claims.
Investor-grade reporting that links every dollar to an action and to a measured change in risk, habitat and carbon.
Spread predictions updated as conditions change, for containment planning, resource deployment and earlier, more orderly evacuations.
Six major research reports, forming one of the most comprehensive open-access wildfire research libraries available. Every dataset that informed the ForestSAT platform is documented and cited.

Every megafire that has devastated a landscape was preceded by years of observable, measurable, preventable risk accumulation. We built the system to see it, act on it, and prove that we did.
Ajay founded ForestSAT in 2021 to put the science of wildfire prevention into practice using Satellite Earth Observation and AI. We believe saving the planet's forests, wildlife and communities from wildfire is possible, and doing everything we can to achieve it is a moral imperative. He is the author of the four-volume Megawildfires series on Amazon.
